Our lives are a cascade of events that pass faster than we would like them to. Time changes everything. Our habits, our views, our circle of friends. But there is one thing that remains the same over the years.
Our memories.
Through them we cherish the most unforgettable moments of our history. And they also retain some things that can't be forgotten….
But one day you realize that yesterday should be left in the past. Because tomorrow your new life begins, and you go back to the drawing board.
A love story of Evan Murray and Tara Mackenzie.
A story that should last forever….
But no one knows when forever ends….

This is Evans short story about how he met Tara, and their relationship.  Evan Murray is one of the main characters from Diana's Love Lines series. You get to know him well in both books, but this short story is from his point of view.  I really enjoyed how Diana shifts from past to present and as Evan reminisces about their past while reading his old journal. His  heartfelt stories are so sweet, from their first encounter to every tribulation they experienced.

"Page after page I was expunging the bitterness of my past, hoping to start a new life…."

To be inside Evans mind explained his character so much, and made me fall in love with him even more.

"….the amount of love I was feeling every day eclipsed the screaming of my conscience. Anything was worth it. Even if I would have been damned in my afterlife."

The third book in the Love Lines Series is called Diamond Sky, and is expected to be released this Spring. If you haven't read Love Lines (Loves Lines #1) or Songs of the Wind (Love Lines #2) you should definitely read them!
