Synopsis from Goodreads:
Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.
Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break, so seeing yet another camera aimed at his face has him ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.
Natalie is a no nonsense girl who doesn't do well with lies and secrets. What will happen to this new relationship when she discovers what Luke’s hiding?
My Thoughts:
"Come Away With Me," was such a romantic book. It was so full of desire, longing, and true love. This was a very well thought out book, and will be a such a wonderful series.
Natalie is our lovely leading lady. She is a gorgeous brunette, with stunning green eyes, and a body full of curves any woman would die for. Natalie is very self conscious, has serious trust issues, and doesn't realize the effect she has on men. She currently is a full-time photographer, who works from home, but her passion is taking landscape shots.
Luke is the MAN! This is a not a joke, ladies he is so SWOONY (I'm sure this isn't even a word, but he is), he has a huge heart, and loves unconditionally! He likes to lead a very private life, and isn't a fan of photographers or crowds. There is something very intriguing about Luke, is it because he is intense or is it due to his vulnerabilities?
Natalie and Luke meet by chance, due to her taking pictures of the Puget Sound. It may or may not be the best meeting but, there is something that builds instantly between them. Over the course of the book, this relationship builds to something not many people have in life. Luke loves deeply, and Natalie has no idea what is like to be in a relationship. Everything is a learning experience for these two.
My only nag about the book was, I wanted MORE...so much MORE!!! I was sad when I was at 97% and knew I was going to be done at any given second. I truly loved this book, how the characters grabbed my attention immediately, and how I was so consumed by their world!! I hope you, the reader, can enjoy it as much as I did :) This series continues with "Fight With Me." This will be coming out in the beginning of January. Until then you can read the novella, "Under the Mistletoe."
