Planning
on forever is a wonderful story about
the things you want the
most and what happens when life throws you a curve ball.
Alexa and Collin
were high school sweethearts and
thought that they would spend their lives together. One
night changes everything for
them. Colllin drunkenly crosses a line and Alexa soon finds out. They
must face the consequences of one mistake and how drastically it changes their future. Trust
is broken, love is tested and both their lives are changed.
Alexa
and Collin both face a new futures,
new friendships and relationships, and
the journey is beautiful to
read. I found myself cheering for the typical happy ending but as the
story progressed I happily
let go of that hope and was sucked into the new direction that they were both moving towards.
Did I mention the
steamy sex? No? Well let me take a
minute to do that now. It’s
hot! This is not an
erotic novel but it does have
very well written love scenes that
will leave you wanting more. A lot more!
Planning
on Forever is Ashley Wilcox’s first novel and it’s a fantastic entrance to the writing
world. She has a
wonderful writing style, memorable characters and a great story.
It accurately reflects the
unexpected heartbreaks that
life brings and the surprises that help us heal.
Ashley is
currently working on her
next offering, “Summer Rush” with a
projected release date later this
winter.
